Hi guys, i hope someone could help me.
My PC randomly loses internet connection while using ethernet (LAN cable). The internet in the house itself stays stable and other devices keep working fine.
What’s weird is that when it happens, I can temporarily fix it by slightly unplugging and reconnecting the ethernet cable. After that, the connection instantly comes back and I can continue gaming.
The issue is also very inconsistent. Sometimes it won’t happen for an entire week, and then suddenly it happens multiple times a day or even several times within a few hours before stopping again.
Things I already tried:
Bought a brand new LAN cable
Tried different LAN ports on the router
Disabled power saving settings for the network adapter
Internet itself is stable
My network adapter is:
Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Family Controller
Has anyone experienced this before or knows a fix? Thanks a lot!!
