First Pair of Selvedge Jeans - Unbranded UB601
Finally decided to dip my toe into selvedge jeans and settled on the Unbranded UB601s. I generally get athletic cut jeans and the relaxed taper was exactly what I was looking for. These pics are from today, my Day 1 of wearing.
I buy 34x32 in Levis or Lee jeans, and these UB601s are 34x32 as well. Luckily these come with a 32" inseam, so no hemming was required. I'm 5'10 and right at 200lbs, for reference.
It's important to check the Unbranded website for the measurements. The UB6xx pants all seem to be vanity sized (the 34 waist on these is 36"). I've seen other styles that are sized differently, though.
I am very pleased so far and look forward to breaking these in! I've got my eye on the Neppy selvedge next, but I don't think I'm ready for 22oz yet... Haha.
