I've never played a soulsborne game (other than bloodborne) and have started playing dark souls 1 remastered, should I follow a guide online or piece the game together as I go through? I am struggling in some of the beginning parts (after the tutorial) and finding it difficult to maneuver and use the controls. I keep getting hit unnecessarily and taking damage. Am I just bad or do I have to follow guides online on how to combo and use the different ways to attack efficiently?
