53 offers for this is crazy… what have we become

I genuinely don’t even know where to start with this.

I bought an item on Vinted that was delivered to a pickup point. I hadn’t collected it yet because I never received any notification that it had arrived.

Then suddenly—out of nowhere—I get a message saying the item was delivered and picked up. Which is completely false.

So I immediately reported it, explaining that I had NOT collected the parcel.

The result?
My account was instantly blocked… and the money was released to the seller.

I contacted the post office directly, and they confirmed the parcel is STILL sitting there, unclaimed, waiting for pickup.

So just to be clear:
• I never received a pickup notification
• I never collected the item
• The parcel is still physically at the pickup point
• Vinted marked it as “picked up” anyway
• They released the money to the seller
• And then blocked me for reporting the issue

I appealed TWICE—both times rejected with no real explanation, just generic copy-paste responses.
So I escalated the issue to Vinted’s legal email.
That’s when it got even worse.

A customer support agent named Bilinda replied, clearly stating that this was a mistake on Vinted’s side and that my account would be unblocked.
Naturally, I checked straight away… and my account was still blocked.

I followed up, asking what was going on—and then got another reply from the same agent saying, essentially: they had “reconsidered” and my account would remain blocked after all.

So within the same thread:
• First: they admit fault
• Then: they promise to fix it
• Then: they reverse the decision with no explanation

How is that acceptable?

To make things even worse, I also have ongoing claims about counterfeit items which were sold to me on the platform that I’ve already reported, so this isn’t even an isolated issue. It’s seriously making me question how Vinted handles disputes and buyer protection.

At this point I’ve:
• Contacted the post office (they confirmed the parcel is still there)

•	Contacted Vinted multiple times

•	Filed appeals (all rejected with no proper reasoning)

Next step is escalating this through EU dispute resolution and my payment provider, because this is completely unacceptable.

Has anyone else dealt with something like this? Any advice on how to actually get a real response from Vinted?

Right now it just feels like I’ve been completely ignored and shut out.
