These grade 2 curses weren’t scared of Ogi because he’s strong
On the contrary, Ogi’s CE is so weak that the cursed spirits thought he was an HR user like Toji, and so kept their distance, when in reality any one of the curses in this room could’ve done him like post awakening Maki
It’s crazy how when you really look at it, Asa basically died here as a n important character and not a lot of people (myself included) seemed to notice
Cause after this point, I don’t think Asa progresses or develops as a character like, at all. She only shows up to tell Denji something and then vanish for another 10-20 chapters.
From here Yoru becomes the dominant personality and Asa loses all ability to swap back, practically making her only slightly more present in the story than fucking Pochita (not including Black CSM).
Her literal only moments of importance after the aging devil arc are telling Denji stuff that gets disregarded like 2 panels later when Yoru comes back, and getting an ultimately pointless backstory before Denji says he’ll bring Asa to his and Pochita’s world only to get disregarded after Yoru offers sex on her behalf.
(It Doesn’t help that every character that was even somewhat connected to Asa rather than Denji got off screened out of the plot right before the aforementioned scene)
The way Fujimoto did Asa might genuinely be worse than how Gege did Megumi. That’s how bad this was
Again, this is assuming Iori gets Tobimune and Hiruhiko gets Kumeyuri back
Personally I think it could be cool to see the “successors” (I mean this in the loosest way possible for the latter) of Samura and Uruha fight eachother at some point using their own interpretations of the swords’ abilities.
So what was the point of removing CE?
The more I think about it (I might not be getting smth), the less I understand what the point of Yuji and Maru’s plan even was
The whole reason they went about doing it was because Maru wanted to remove cursed spirits, but then we find out that apparently cursed spirits will exist anyway? So what’s the point of removing CE then and forcing everyone to completely relearn how to counter them?
Along with this, Yuji straight up admits that doing the CE removal plan has a very good chance on creating detriment in the further, so far as to calling it a sin. So why even bother doing it in the first place
It feels like they could’ve easily just did the thing that seperate the Kalyans, Rumelians, and cursed spirits soul wise without having to forcefully and permanently reconfigure humanities ability to use CE as a whole
Please someone tell me if I’m missing something, because I genuinely can’t see what the benefit here is and it’s been bothering me for days
