What non Boise metro, non Moscow, town has the best environment for a political progressive?

And I'm realistic, I know it's still Idaho and I'm fine with that. I'm getting priced out of Boise and just want to know who has an actual moderate mix of people, and most importantly is TOLERANT of all people. Thanks!
