Urgent OINP + WES Technical Issue — ECA Completed but Cannot Authorize OINP Access
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for urgent advice regarding a WES technical issue affecting my wife’s OINP application.
She has:
a completed WES ECA for immigration purposes,
and a separate Course-by-Course evaluation for MLPAO licensing purposes.
The problem is that when logging into the WES dashboard, only the MLPAO Course-by-Course application appears. The “Immigration Purposes” section is missing completely, so she cannot authorize OINP to access the ECA electronically.
The ECA itself is already completed and authorized to IRCC, but OINP specifically requires separate authorization through WES.
We have:
called WES almost every business day since April 23,
opened multiple tickets,
escalated the matter to executive leadership,
received acknowledgment from the CEO’s office,
and collected screenshots/emails as evidence.
OINP deadline is this Sunday. We are planning to:
submit the application before deadline,
include a detailed Letter of Explanation,
attach the completed ECA PDF,
attach dashboard screenshots and WES correspondence.
Question:
Has anyone experienced something similar with WES/Ontario PNP? Did OINP accept the explanation or issue an ADR later?
Also, WES dashboard shows an option to “upgrade” the Course-by-Course report, and during the process it seems to allow OINP selection. But I’m worried it may restart processing or create a new ECA request.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
