What are some Characters that where thinking too far ahead?

What are some Characters that where thinking too far ahead?

Like Chairman Rose who basically almost blows up Pokemon Britain, Galar, when he unleashes Eternatus so it doesn't lose it's Macro Cosmos power reserve and enter an energy crisis.

1000 YEARS IN THE FUTURE!?

Like yeah he's supposed to be a villain regardless of how friendly he is. But that just seems like way overdoing it and inevitably losing his position of power because of it. Well I suppose if it was more realistic not only would the running out of energy crisis be like a 50 year in the futuee thing, but a corporate high level Chairman like Rose would get away with such a catastrophy without even having to make up for it.

Tho he might have to go into hiding, like canon Rose does so that part's kind of realistic.

But yeah, what are some fun characters that really jumped the gun and acted way before it was time to, which made them miss the problem in the present?

What are your Favorite Bodyguards of the Villain?

Sometimes as strong, nasty and dangerous the villain is. They do have weaknesses and are aware they could get caught and defeated so to a last line they set up a mighty Bodyguard.

Started watching the Secret Saturdays and Munja, the Butler Spider almost like a Frankensteins Monster, is great he always has like this hulking out sequence and for being a silent brute is always coming in clutch for Argost.

What are your Favorite Reconciliations in Media?

When characters that used to be on the same or similar, but turned enemies or opposing forces, become allies again.

Big spoilers for Zuko and Iroh who are like the recurring kind of funny antagonists of Avatar the Last Airbender by Season 3 >!Zuko has been having a whole very internal struggling redemption arc, culminating with him going back on it and betraying team Avatar!<

Doing this gets Iroh >!captured by the Fire Nation as a traitor, by Season 4 Zuko has finally turned against it and his father, so he goes to free Iroh and they talk, Zuko being very regretful and Iroy revealing that more than dissapointed or angry, he was sad and afraid that Zuko had finally lost himself and was very happy that wasn't the case!<

Why is Paul trying adopt a Star Child pretending that's she'sa Superman? (A-Force Vol 2 #1)

And how did he already get a new girlfriend, wasn't he dead? >!I'm joking of course that's not Paul, just sort of looks similar, hairs blacker where as Pauls is browner!<

What's some Dialogue you'd Love to Hear the line that comes after?

Some would say actions speak louder than words, so it would make sense after a particularly harsh sentence to just forgoe trying to one up someone with words, rather just beat them down. But there's some conversations I would've liked to hear where it goes if it doesn't end there or with fisticuffs. What's some character dialogue like that for you?

In Invincible VS, at that start of a fight there's one liners, insults and just normal conversations. Cecil Stedman is one of the sassiest characters in these dialogues, so it's funny to hear the sass get turned back on him with Lucan the serious Strong Fat Viltrumite and makes me wonder what he would've said in turn.

Cecil: "God, the mustaches are getting old. You people ever think about getting a new style?"

Lucan: "How hypocritical. Hair like yours is out of fashion galaxy wide!"

Wonder if it'd be like 3d or 2d, maybe like most or all of the cast would have Installs because going on for so long almost all of them have transformed at some point.

Homer would be a grappler obviously, grabbing peoples neck and shaking them. Him and Barney would probably have a beer meter. Who'd you like in the cast?

Because it's normally not that combat heavy an ability in fiction, unless you're like an assassin type. So it's pretty interesting to see how it goea being a fighters power and how it won't turn out super overpowered.

So my selection is Morph from the X-Men, they're a shapeshifter whose base form kind of reminds me of Chameleon also from Marvel. However Morph is a mutant that can both change their shape into other people, but can also copy their physical abilities, even copy things like fire, energy generation and even swords, though this maybe be them just copy that actual matter and energy and using them as weapons.

Because they can't copy the internal powers of people, like Psylockes psionics and skills, Quicksilvers super slowed time perception and extreme reaction ability, Juggernauts unstoppability in motion and Hulk strength increasing through rage. And can only change shape to one other person at a time.

That you previously didn't. Tho honestly this pick is not mine, but I have seen many people in the interent express that the more serious tone of Cecil in the Invincible cartoon vs his more comedic early role in the comic made them actually like him. Maybe it's on peoples internal biases like how he has a in line with the base character model fairly thin man look with cool face scar, rather than tall face with slightly pudgier look in the comics. Also maybe in Season 1 >!him knowing Omnimans betrayal all along and having something of a foils rivalry thing going on early on with him, might've given him a cooler reception!<

Writing all this out I guess it's not that slight, but rather many different slight differences leading to a different reception.

Like comparatively in these fictional worlds of monsters, the characters don't have any particularly outstanding strength or "stat" but they're so well versed in fighting or being willy they make it way farther than their "stat sheet" would seem to let them do.

My pick is Sokka from Avatar the Last Airbender who starts off as a fairly weak jerk and while he grows in extremes as a person, he's still fairly weak when compared to his allies and enemies, even being easily bested by Zuko in one of his few strengths, swordsmanship, Zuko didn't even use any bending showing even without it what the gap of power is between Sokka and benders. Yet he's one of those that most often managed to make the Gaang survive some of their deadliest encounters by thinking ahead and being street smart, well I guess ice smart, skilled in dodging, the boomerang, the sword and being resourceful.

I really liked what I've seen of Kizaru Borsalino, the Light Admiral of the Marines of One Piece. He's been a really fun, like nigh-unstoppable antagonist.

I'm sorry for double posts of Invincible, but they found a DLC leak for Invincible VS and Immortals victory animation is the "Everyone is so mean to me" meme about his odd animation when flying away in space, probably for saving money which I kind of respect. I had to share this it made me laugh.

And this art is the Viltrumites straight posed up geeking by Ryan Ottley. So I can't really call it fanart.

"Mister Argall, what went on in your head?"

"Oh Mister Argall, did you conquer the dead?"

Because I find in a story, the idea of the fall out period after the big event and or "finale" type climax of a story interesting. I think the one I've enjoyed the most is Enders Game after >!they win the war!< in the books. I will say I've fallen out a bit on finishing the books, but looking at what comes after having previously only seen the movie was very fun.

Or perhaps a bit more crudely, want to be killed. Have been watching some One Piece and just got to the introduction of the >!Emperor Kaido, the King of Beasts!<. I've heard somethings about him, but his deal off rip being just that he wants an epic death is fun. Will see how he develops or if that's all theire is to him, I would respect that honestly.

And yeah, what are some fun villains or enemies of the main characters that want to lose or die?

u/Funny_Mud6639 — 16 days ago

Basically the titles question.

And as the image shows, I really liked the >!Brazillian portuguese!< dub of the Clone Wars. Also it's so funny that them redubbing the voice actor of Palpatine in the movie so they'd all be the same turns out with him shouting "UNLIMITED F@CKING POWER" in >!Portuguese!<
