I'm a 2024 btech graduate from a tier 3 college, working as a Guidewire developer in a service based company for a year now. It is a niche domain and it has pretty good demand in companies like EY, Deloitte, PWC, etc.

I primarily develop backend solutions using the Gosu programming language (based on Java) heavily implementing OOP principles.

I am thinking of grinding DSA and learning Spring boot and system design and making a switch as a backend developer.

Do you know someone who has made a similar move or do you have any advice on this?
