Update on my fish with gill flukes (presumably)

i’m now quarantining my fish in a hospital tank and using Rally Pro Spectrum Treatment. I do have a question, does anyone know if i should be doing small water changes throughout the treatment? I do know that gill flukes take a while to fully get rid of, so i’m wondering if i need to be doing water changes throughout the treatment. ALSO, should i put my other rainbow rasbora in with the infected one? I’m not positive my other fish isn’t infected as his gills look a bit red on one side (and they spend a lot of time together in my main tank). Is it ok to take preventative measures and house them together in the hospital tank? Or would that be counterproductive/harmful?

My rainbow fish is breathing a little odd?

I’ve had these babies for a couple years after my younger sister donated them to me from her community tank. I have 2, and i know it isn’t great to keep less than ~4, but i have may bottom dwellers in a ~45 gallon tank and i don’t want to overcrowd/introduce more nitrites and such. Just today i noticed one of them was breathing a bit faster than the other, and their gills seem to be a bit frilly? I’m not too sure how to explain it so i’ve attached a video to the best of my ability.

I hope someone will help me out :) i’ve looked it up and of course water quality was mentioned, and i do admit my water quality is not as great as it was a few months ago but i’m hoping to get back on track with cleaning/weekly water changes.

Also want to mention that i don’t know their age, but i want to assume they’re more mature as my sister had them for a few years before giving them to me 2 years ago.
