Can anyone recommend an anime or manga with a male MC who feels like an actual normal teenager instead of an awkward, spineless self-insert? Someone more along the lines of Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle’s Saku Chitose or Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai’s Sakuta Azusagawa — confident, socially functional, and able to talk to girls without acting like a complete creep or panic machine.

I’m specifically trying to avoid protagonists like Kazuya from Rent-A-Girlfriend, and I also don’t want the overly passive, gloomy, or painfully awkward type like Tani-kun from You and I Are Polar Opposites.
