Never thought I’d post here but what the heck lmao

I’ve noticed a trend with new gen fans/fans that started with games that got super popular, that, for whatever reason, insecurity or whatever, attack previous installments? Saying it’s just nostalgia, rose tinted glasses, etc.

I get it. Older fans can be annoying. They can be very snobbish when they find out you started with the game that made the franchise spike in popularity. Instead of when it was ‘Niche’ (Zelda wasn’t Niche for a while but Monster Hunter sure was everywhere but Japan)

But please, don’t hate on the older games for no reason just because of them. Lmao.
