Quick background: I've been building Easy MCP AI, a free plugin that turns WordPress into an MCP server so AI assistants can manage your site directly — create posts, handle comments, manage menus, that sort of thing. A few people asked if it could pull in analytics data too, and I finally got around to it.
The latest update adds Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console tools into the same MCP connection. So if you already have the plugin connected to your AI assistant, you now get:
GA4: run reports, pull realtime data, list conversion events, check custom dimensions and metrics, query any property you have access to.
GSC: query search performance data (queries, clicks, impressions, CTR, position), inspect individual URLs, list and check sitemaps, pull site verification status.
The practical difference this makes: instead of opening Analytics, exporting a CSV, pasting it into your AI and asking what to do — you just ask. "What were my top 10 landing pages last month and which ones have the highest bounce rate?" It queries GA4 directly and gives you an answer in the same conversation where you're already working on your site.
Or you're writing a new post and you want to know which search queries are bringing people to an existing related post. Ask it to pull the GSC performance data for that URL. It comes back with the queries, impressions, and average position. You use that to inform the new post without switching tabs.
All the same auth model as the rest of the plugin — each connection is scoped to a WordPress user, tokens can be restricted to specific tools.
Free, works with Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Manus, anything MCP-compatible. You'll need to connect your Google account through the plugin settings to enable the GA/GSC tools.
