Currently year 12 as of May 2026 Alevels: Maths, chemistry and phsyics.
Ive been so paranoid over my gcses grades and how they're gonna effect my decisions for that unis I get to apply to. I want to study maths and computer science and I'm honestly hoping for oxford imperial and Ucl as my top 3 and haven't decided on the bottom 2.
But idk if my GCSE grades are gonna hold me down bc if I'm doing maths at uni and at GCSE I got a 6 woudlnt that be a problem.
Oxford are changing to do the TMUA this year so that does makes things easy
My current super ciriculars are : I'm currently doing a gold award for the Duke of endinburugh award Volunteering in the maths department Learning python thru mycodecamp course For maths I'm gonna pick one topic from something they teach and try go in depth with that or simply buy a maths textbook and analyse the hell out of that. I've done the brilliant club with a. 2:1 CERN trip.
I'm honestly scared that I'm not doing enough at all so I'm looking for any sort of advice be that tweaking my super ciriculars to make it tailored for my course or any advice about my current situation with my GCSE grades.
Any advice would help :)
