To anyone who tried Rifaximin/Xifaxan. How did you feel on it?
It's currently day 2 for me on Rifaximin/Xifaxan, and I pretty much don't feel any different at all. I didn't get any die-off symptoms and my bloating is still the same. I read that rifaximin is a RNA inhibitor, and may take some time to work. But it kind of feels like its not doing anything.
I've been taking liquid NAC 1 hour before and biocidin GI Detox binder 2 hours after. It makes me wonder if its because I don't have a lot of bile since I'm sort of on a low fat diet due to previous gastritis (I do eat some oil and animal fat, but I try to minimize it). The most I felt from the antibiotics was that I seem to be burping more and my gut is starting to make noises?
TLDR: Did anyone not feel any die-off or any difference in the first few days of Rifaximin/Xifaxan?
