Is this unit a bad choice?

Is this unit a bad choice?

I am 31 F with 250k in savings but a low income of 50k a year due to some mental health issues that I am working on. I am looking at units to purchase and came across this one. The reason it appeals to me is because of the price, I want to do some travelling before i meet someone and settle down, also have some pocket change left over to buy another place later when my job changes. Is this going to be a bad investment? I have had two properties in the past that I sold, hence why I have such a big deposit.

My family thinks it's a bad idea and there will be no room to move around. I thought of staying in it for a bit and possibly rent out later and buy something else? I looked at the history of units in this complex and there doesn't seem to be much of an increase in prices. Im concerned the prices may even drop?

I would appreciate any input😊

Edit to add: I already have pre approval from a lender for a unit of this size.
