What is the story behind connection requests from attractive women, typically asian, that want to ask me about my weekend and then ask for contact information so they can chat with me on WhatsApp? What are they trying to do?

Now if I get connection requests from any remotely attractive female, I have to inspect the profile to see if it is real. It’s annoying and I’m tired of it.
