▲ 1 r/mead

After exactly 30 days from pitching yeast and honey, my mead still isn't finished as it still has a a lot of residual sugars left. The average temperature where I am is around 60-70 where I live. My previous two meads with d47 finished quite a bit faster around 2-3 weeks at colder temperatures during the winter so it's weird that this one is taking longer.

  1. traditional with d47 (not rehydrated)
  2. OG gravity: 1.082
  3. orange blossom honey
  4. 1/4 teaspoon Ferm-o at day 1, 2, 3, 5
  5. current gravity 1.020
