The local council have commissioned an artist to paint murals on several bus stops in my local area, and in the last few days a new one has been done featuring this wonderful scene on the one side of a bus stop right near a pool, where the geese crossing the road between a pool and a nice grassy area is a common sight.
Thought you guys might like to see it. I think it's lovely.
After feeding my pair of baby swans I've been feeding for about 4 months now since they were with their parents and other sibling who have since moved on to do their own thing, the one splooted down beside me as they both often do, sitting at my feet and chilling out.
I thought I'd take a video of him giving me the business as I give him chest strokes. He loves to bite my sleeve but can often get skin. I don't mind though, I love spending time with them and a few little war wounds are more than worth it.
They both eat from my hand and this one will let me give him lots of chest strokes after a handful of seed but will go at my sleeve/hand once he's finished his mouthful 😆
Please excuse the voice, I'm one of those people who often speaks to animals/babies in a silly voice!

Some of you folks might remember me mentioning that the council have been oiling the eggs of the two pairs of geese that have lived at a pair of pools on opposite sides of the road near where I live from the past few years. The one pair with the Mrs goose I have posted about several times that I feed directly on her eggs/nest is still on hers, but the pair on the other side have had 8 babies!
This year she wasn't nesting in her usual spot right on the edge of an island in the middle of the pool which meant the council workers could wade over and spray her eggs quite easily, but had ventured deeper into it, and as the edge has a little fence around it the workers wouldn't be able to get onto the island, or didn't realise there was a nest this year anyway. I don't know if it was intentional on her part or she couldn't nest in her usual spot for some reason, but it doesn't really matter.
I call the Mr goose Barcode Goose because he has a little area on his chest of black and white lines, and it's so lovely to see that he and Mrs Barcode have had babies after being denied the past 3 years. F**k you council!
Anyway, I took some pictures of the new babies as well as their proud parents. Mrs Barcode didn't eat from my hand like usual, as she was being a very good momma goose and watching the kids closely.
A very happy goosing day today! ☺️

The latest official WWE reveal happened a week back with Mr Perfect, Sheamus, AJ Styles, and Solo Sikoa, however the next wave after that has been leaked by the always reliable Scarlet Joker as per the image.
Old school fans will love to finally have a Hacksaw Jim Duggan and maybe also Demolition, whilst newer fans will be glad to see Penta, and perhaps Tiffany. I look forward to seeing what the exclusives are, especially plural!
I have a Greylag friend at a local pool who, along with her partner, returned for the turn from winter to spring, but after a few weeks of happily coming and eating from my hand they disappeared and I assumed they had left. Turns out they were busy with their nest!
They have had 5 babies! She's always been a bit hissy and I think for her that's just how she says hello though perhaps there was a little extra hissiness today with the babies around.
She's so sweet and lovely, and ever so gentle when eating from my hand.
The Bitey Trousers' introduced me to their babies today! I couldn't find them yesterday so I did wonder if their babies had hatched and they were keeping them hidden for their first hours/day, and today MBT came right to me as usual, whilst the missus kept back a little with the little ones. She usually comes up to me and eats from my hand but today, understandably, she was keeping her distance a little, I think because there was a good bit of growth the babies wouldn't have been able to get past without getting in the water and it was obviously too much hassle! 😄
Mr BT got his belly rubs and back strokes as usual, and gave me his customary trouser bites.
One of their babies from last year became a trouser biter too, so it probably won't be long before I'm getting extra terrorised by this family of criminals! ☺️
