I purchased an Amazon fire cube with 4K in October 2021. I recently started using my app through my smart tv and noticed everything loads much faster than going through my fire cube. How long do these things last and is it time to buy a new one?

I wanted to change my pantry door which i thought was 24in wide even though I measured 23 3/4. I thought maybe they come a quarter of an inch smaller. When I installed the new door it wouldn’t fit because it was actually 24in. So how did they find a 23 3/4in door? Do I have to rip the door down a 1/4in? Appreciate some advice. Thanks
