Ive had GERD for the past 2 years on/off but just recently been experiencing a new symptom that is freaking me out. I have this painful tight feeling in the back of my throat that constantly bugs me where i feel like i have to cough but gag at the same time (throat is red). While this happens, my stomach also feels hungry but tight with nausea too. I dont know how else to explain but its a very confusing sensation like i want to eat but feel like im going to puke. This has lasted me about a week now. What do i do to stop this?
