Ok ok ok I am rewatching S01e09 and this drawing is in the pile that the Matthews are doing through. And what always made me think was this idea of the lake being a collection of TEARS, so odd and Alice In Wonderland coded. But what if the LoT doesn’t exist yet because nobody’s cried? What if there’s a flood coming (see pic) and the anguish it creates, or maybe the sorrow from all the dead, imbues the water with “tears”, which have healing powers through grief or whatever? I mean anyway you slice it, these are zombies butttt worth throwing on the wall y’know?
