how long does it take to recover from grade 1/2 miniscus tear w/o surgery

anyone please share your recovery journey and suggestions

1st mri showing grade 2 miniscus tear (1.5tesla)

after 1 month went for another mri showing grade 1 miniscus tear (3Tesla)

How possible different?

symptoms;; I do feel pain in squats 6/10 , stair climbing pain5/10 , walking 2/10

no locking while walking and stairs climbing

no locking during bending

clicking 2/10 while doing full leg extension in air

what will you suggest surgery or no surgery??

I had dislocation at 21 dec 2025

today I can walk and climb stairs but can't run or do deep squats

Though I feel mild pain in walking 😭dont know 😭 Why

pain is less but its there

I have full rom and muscles

MRI;; Mild hyperintension involving MPFL though It's continuity is maintained + grade 1 miniscus tear

what I can do now to remove that 5% pain in walking

I don't feel that my patella will dislocate

what will you recommend for decreasing mild left pain

and why now also I have pain it's been 3.5 month since dislocation. .

I can climb stairs with almost no pain but while walking I do feel pain not fully ok 😭

hey I have grade 2 medial postier horn miniscus tear with not articulation to the surface it's been 3.5 month

I still have 4/10 pain in walking

can't do squat

can climb stairs with mild pain

while doing stretching and flexion of my knee I do feel some tightness

have full rom

do I need surgery or pt

I don't feel locking and clicking in walking but I hear clicking sound of 1/10 intensity sound only during doing full leg extension in the sitting position on chair taking full extension in air

while walking and quad isometric no locking and clicking

no clicking in stair climbing

it's been 3.5 month but I do feel mild pain 😢 what to do

can anyone who recoverd well from same situation help !!
