ELI5 - when do you use σε and when do you use σου?

Hello! This is something as an English speaker I find really confusing. I’ve tried doing my own research and also asking Chat GPT though haven’t been able to come to a response that makes sense.

Would massive appreciate any explanation, ideally as simple as possible 😊

Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

I’m learning Greek outside of Greece so my speaking opportunities are at my weekly private lesson, and at language meet ups in my city - which are ad-hoc but usually happen 1-2 times a month. Outside of those, I get a few ‘mini’ speaking opportunities every week by visiting Greek owned cafes.

I notice that my speaking ability and sharpness can vary a lot from one meet up to the next. I have an A2 Ellinomatheia exam in two weeks so obviously I want to make sure I’m having one of my good days for the exam.

I’m taking both the day of the exam and the day before it off work. I’m not sure of the best way to essentially ‘condition’ myself so that I’ll do well on the day.

Eg should I even do any study the day before?
