Hi all, I've currently got a pretty good setup, but I've been thinking of upgrading, which led me to looking at the fluance signature or maybe reference series.

What I've got.

Denon x4400h

Fosi stereo amplifier 100 watt per channel

Elac b5.2 L/R

Elac c5.2 C

2 Dayton audio 12" subs

Polk owm 3 for all 4 surrounds and all 4 height channels (2 rear heights powered by the stereo amp)

I set this up on a budget 6, or 7 years ago and its been ok except the owm3's for surrounds sound harsh at high volumes which i hate, but the 4 on the ceiling for height channels dont seem to bother me as much. The elacs have been pretty good, but Im sure i could do better, plus if I got a matching 7.0 system then I would get timbre matching.

My 3 questions are:

  1. Would the fluance signature series be an upgrade over my current setup?

  2. How does the fluance reference series compare to the signature series?

  3. Is there any benefit to getting the towers for the L/R considering i already have the 2 subwoofers?

Thanks for any help.

Edit: I plan to keep the 4 owm3's on the ceiling and the 2 subs, im only considering swapping out the 7.0 base layer.
