Need some advice regarding early exit from current company
Hi guys, current company has a 90day notice period but the new company wants me to join in 60 days. I already resigned after getting the offer. Initially HR said early release could be considered if approvals came through and I did get approval from a senior manager svp level.
now hr says there is discussion from higherups early exit requests overall, so nothing is being processed right now and that hr will let me know but i am assuming she will come back with a no even after senior manager svp level approval is there
i made it clear to them that i am ok with buyout for 1 month and as well as i have privileged leaves collected enough to process 1 month easily. hr had denied for both of it. Policy says 'its allowed as per company discretion'
Has anyone dealt with something similar? What usually happens in these cases? Please suggest on how to convince hr or some other way I could deal with this
