When The Returning Rewards(Triumphant Return)??? and THE CURRENT SITUATION OF WR
So i was a 8yr old child who was looking for mobile games in 2018 in his father's phone and i found WR, the old nostalgic WR, all i remember was that i had a griffin and a natasha and some other bots in my hangar. I loved the game but the gameplay was slow for me as i didnt have any good robots at that time and as i was playing other games too, i eventually played less of WR.
Then one day i logged back again which was the end of the sam stone event and i got my first t4 robot from that event chest for free which was the giftbringer fenrir which made me hooked to the game and a few days or months, i dont clearly remember when the first special edition titan, ox minos was introduced which i also got from the chests for free and that was the moment i was fan of WR. I got to test out the new titan(which i am still using this day) and i played the game day and night, specially bcz that was the time of COVID i had so much time that i just kept playing WR without doing anythiing.
But the situation kept growing worse, mothership was introduced, drone rebalance hit, and the introduction of new no skill robots. The only two robots i invested my most time into(without money) were fafnir and orochi. They were nerfed so hard that fafnir was literally unusable and orochi fell off the meta too.
I made my first purchase in the shop, three evoras, upgraded them and it was going great every battle with my minos. But since my robots died way too fast it was mostly of no use.
I made it past the ROOK meta, the CHEAP MINOS(OCHOKOCHI) meta, NEWTON meta, the fucking CURIE and EIFFEL meta, the GREEN TELEPORTING GRASSHOPPER meta, the BEDWYR and THE FLAMES meta and THE FUCKING RAPTORRR meta too but just after two months when i heard they are adding another dashing titan MAULER, i left the game. And thank goodnes i did bcz when i returned back and go to know about the CONDOR and DUX meta, i was happy i left the game at that time.
After leving the game just before update 10.3 and joined back in update 11.7 and what i see is AN UNKILLABLE CROCODILE with ONE SHOT WEPS and rumors of and INVISIBLE MOSQUITO with CORROSIVE MACHINE GUNS that go brttttt and no only that, for an entire 40 days gameplay of getting absolutely bombarded by some missiles the goes through all cover, has so much explosion radius that covers dont work and had a 5sec reload.
When i joined in 11.7, i got the Triumphant return event which helped a lot. I found the game a bit enjoyable as fresh memories yk but soon it came to the same frustrating point. I am a light spender and in the last few weeks i am spending on the purchasing reward from the event task. Pixonics old tactics is still working as the heavy spenders are still spending on the game as they always did to get the newest shiny thing on the market.
I myself got a neon anaksor but it aint giving me so much value bcz i dont have the MYIA drone that makes it live through the entire battle by letting it to heal grey hp and also any of its pilot and its weapns that i cant afford to buy. With my minos i had to switch out the evoras for vinceres that i got from free titan data pads bcz the evoras aint giving me value at 600m in the curewnt meta and i was bound to switch weapons cuz i had the most strongest weapons at the current meta. I cant use or try any other tiotan cuz none of them are maxed as my minos. Till this day i use my orochi, fafnir(sometimes) and minos cuz i love their playstyle and fun to use. But yeah minos is one of the dangerous titan in the game currently and i am getting a feeling they will nerf it soon which would absolutely shatter me.
And regarding the matches, a match startes, two or three vectors raid towards our spawn while anaksors capture beacons, they maul us and the match ends everytime the same way. If not then they destroy their robot and spawns either a PRINCEPS WHICH is UNKILLABLE and unreachable also or the UE NODENS which is literally just UNKILLABLE. I remember to see only two or three UE NODENS killed on our enemy side when four or five memeber swere shooting at it at the same time. Thats the condition for taking out one titan where every robot or titan should have an equal balance when maxed so that the more skilled one takes the victory alone without anyones help.
Lets me tell u abt today(11/5/26). Todays task was to get 3 wins to get a weapon data pad silver. I have played around 30 matches and among those i have won only two, why? 40% bcz of p2w players instantly demolishing us, 40% bcz of hackers just instantly ending a game in few minutes, and 20% bcz of some idiotic teammates who seems to have gotten up to champions league by doing nothing. They dont know how to play. And i got the 3rd win from the skirmish gameplay in first try cuz there everyone is equal and skill matters.
Pixonic makes the matchmaking so that players like me or even those who have even more underleved stuff than me face stuff like MK3 vecotrs and anaksors. Leader boards are captured by hackers and they dont get banned and last few week the number of hackers i am facing daily both on my and enemy team is insane.
The youtubers aparently have no power. The ones who actually care get banned and while others(not all) glaze the new items every single match even if they know its broken. The help site in WR is useless too cuz i dont think they see the players issues too. My FFA is broken or glitched aparently and they wont fix it. I gave a notice but they havent even seen it yet
I am making this post cuz i am genuinely fucking frustrated out of my mind and i even broke one of my chairs armrest and my mouse by banging it hard on the desk today cuz of continuously losing around 20 matches. The two time i won bcz there were some p2w players in my team only.
I will suggest that not to make any investment in this game if anybond is thinking abt to cuz i regret making the slightest investments too and rather suggest not to play it bcz all it brings is frustration over frustration.
After 12.0 update ends i will take a break bcz next update i dont wanna get bombarded by a fucking tower from 1100m away whose body will be behind the cover that u cant even shoot but when the rebalance in 12.2 hits i expect the already meta items to get reduced by a lot like the princeps and ue nodens and the stealther drone and the hastatus weapons, ofc cant expect anaksors and vectors to get nerfed bcz their sales just started.
A game that had potential being burned and reduced to ashes by the devs and the players themselves, i expect wr to be dead by the next decade. Clash of Clans and Minecraft alone are 100x times better games bcz of the freedom and customizbility u have.
If anyone read all this and made it upto this last paragraph, the last thing i wanna know is after how much days will i get the returning rewards? Is that and entire event or smth like 30-40 days. Plz help if anyboday has tried being offline and got rewards after a month or so cuz after this break the only thing that would make me log in to WR will be those free rewards that a normal player gets after 4-6 months of grinding their asses.
