Exogenous ketones brand recommendations?
I am looking to add exogenous ketones to my fasted morning pre workout stack to get a rapid cognitive and physical energy spike for my training. I have been researching Audacious Nutrition KetoStart and love the science behind it, especially since it binds BHB directly to essential minerals with clean ingredients.
However, the price per serving is a bit too steep for me to run it daily. I am hoping to find a more budget friendly alternative that still delivers high quality BHB salts without causing massive stomach distress.
For context on how I will be using it:
I train completely fasted in the mornings (7 AM to 9 AM) running a heavy Push Pull Legs split followed by very high intensity elliptical intervals.
I currently mix my pre workout into an 8 ounce shot. I plan to take the exogenous ketones alongside my beta alanine about 20 to 30 minutes before stepping onto the gym floor.
I am on a strict keto diet and already use MCT oil in my post workout recovery smoothie, so I am specifically looking for instant exogenous ketone energy to peak my blood levels during the heavy lifts.
