I'm supposed to start my new job next week Monday. The onboarding process felt rather chaotic and messy, with me having to email multiple times to get information/get things across. I chalked it up to them having a few busy weeks with inspections and other things going on. I'm also 35 weeks pregnant, which they know. I've been communicative of my pregnancy, maternity leave plans and health conditions with my pregnancy. Anyways, I emailed them on April 23rd asking for my schedule and start time. I followed up on April 27th. It's been radio silent since April 23rd. I need this job as I need to secure daycare for my daughter for when I have clinicals as well. My husband is military so childcare will be mostly on me as we can't rely on his schedule. I genuinely am at my witts end. I've worked for some chaotic places but never this bad. I've also left a voicemail on April 29th to follow up. I'm not sure whether this is normal practice in ECE settings as I'm transitioning from being a private nanny to ECE, so any input is so very well appreciated.
