I am in the market for a used 4x4 vehicle. I came across a local car lot that had a 2004 Landrover Discovery 2 with the rover 4.6 v8 w/ 132k miles. I know this is an unreliable vehicle, but this particular vehicle has had alot of the less reliable parts replaces/upgraded. The drive shaft has been replaced with a tom woods custom drive shaft. The suspension has been replaced with coils. The thermostat has been replaced with a 180⁰ thermostat (aswell as the electronic temp reader). The roof liner has been replaced and the sunroof dont leak. It also has a nice set of off roading tires on it. The dealer wanted 9k for it, but I was able to talk him down to 6k. I know this vehicle isnt the most reliable choice out there, and I haven't wrenched on my own vehicles much in the past, but I am a quick learner, and more than willing to do the work myself. What I am hoping you guys would be able to help me decide is. . .should I get the discovery 2 with 132k miles for 6k or should I get a 2013 ford F150 with 175k miles for 12k
