China doll makeover
Gonna rip the motor apart to balance the crank. What else should I be doing while I’m in there?
I’ve done nothing but mount and run the motor

Did 4 miles there and 4 back. No issues. Started right up with the choke at 35°. Only takes about 15 minutes cruising. Didn’t hit full throttle because it four strokes on full.
Security at work hassled me coming and going.
The thing feels like an angry beehive under my butt but works good!
What do you guys think of this plug?
I tried out a 65 main jet. I’m at 900’ elevation and it was 47°F. Ran WOT for ten seconds and cut the engine/ pulled clutch to kill it.
Motor does seem smoother with the 65 vs the 70 at WOT.
Motor pulled real good up to about 27 mph and then no more acceleration.

At this point, just for fun, how practical do you guys find these for a commuter vehicle?
I’m planning on doing a 4 mile commute to work on nice sunny days. This isn’t my only means of transportation, but I do plan to make it my primary one through the summer.
What are your experiences with a China doll two stroke for commutes?
So I swapped from the stock plug to nkg br6hs. The change was immediate. Way easier to cold start.
I rode around for about 30 minutes and then shut it down for about 4 hours. Pulls the plug to check color and it looked good so I put it back in there.
Could not start at all this morning. Tried 6-7 times and finally pulled the plug. Looks like the piston slapped the gap closed.
1st, what the hell? It shouldn’t do that.
2nd, how do I avoid that in the future?
When I popped a new plug in the bike fired right up
