Hi everyone,

I am currently 19 and off to university in a few months. My beginner portfolio is just a lump sum of £5k invested into VWRP but I have another £5k left over in savings accounts. I am wondering if it would be optimal to invest another £2-3k and leave some leftovers as emergency funds? I am taking out student loans and plan to get a job while studying/can also rely on parents as a final resort if I should find myself in a truly tough financial position in the future.
