Hi guys,

Looking for some advice on which accreditation to do.

Background: Did an honours degree and majored in finance and business analytics. To do either CA or CPA I would need to at least 3-4 bridging courses as I did not major in accounting (although i did do a few accounting subjects at uni). Been working in a corporate role at an ASX200 company for about 18 months now rotating through financial and management accounting teams. Currently in FP&A and will be moving to BD/corp dev in June.

Tossing up whether to do CA/CPA/CFA.

From conversations with colleagues CA/CPA would be the better choice if I wanted to go into a CFO role down the line. However, my aspirations are to probably become Vice President of Corp Dev rather than pursuing a CFO role.

From what I've heard CFA is tailored a lot more to portfolio management rather than financial modelling. What are your thoughts?
