We attended an appointment to sign our contracts and arrange exchange and completion on Monday. Communications with the seller prior to this have been really positive and the seller has been packed and ready to move for a while (previous sale fallen through on buyers end) assured us desperate to move. Our offer was accepted at the start of March.

Our solicitors have just informed us that one of the sellers has a transfer of equity transaction which needs to complete alongside the sale and they are waiting for some outstanding information on that part before they can consider a completion date.

Has anyone experienced this? How long did it take to resolve?
