I fucked up, I know. I have already gone through all the stages of grief, reported the seller, got my money back and learned my lesson never to buy seeds from Amazon again. I threw out thousands of what I thought was creeping thyme seed hoping to start a fluffy ground cover for my muddy backyard. What is coming up is definitely not creeping thyme, it doesn’t smell as it should and the leaves are obviously not the right shape. All the apps I’ve tried for identification give me a different answer every time. I want to know if I need to frantically pull them all up / torch it if it’s invasive, going to grow tall or cause me issues. I’m very worried I contaminated the area. This is my first time living in a space where I can garden. Any help is really appreciated!
