Which journaling supplies are actually useful?

Being a first-time mom has honestly been one of the most beautiful but overwhelming experiences for me. Some days feel magical, while others feel exhausting, emotional, and lonely all at once. Somewhere in between the sleepless nights and trying to adjust to a completely new routine, I found myself wanting a quiet little hobby that felt calming  and that is how I slowly got into journaling
At first I thought journaling needed perfect handwriting, you know, fancy artistic skills, but I realized it’s really just about having a space for your thoughts. Now I’m looking for basic journaling supplies that actually make the experience enjoyable, (simple notebooks, smooth gel pens, soft highlighters, sticky tabs, washi tape, and cute stickers) and make even messy pages feel personal.

I’ve been browsing stores like jetpens and even Alibaba for ideas but there are so many options that it gets overwhelming quickly.

If you love journaling what are some journaling supplies you would genuinely recommend for someone who would want to explore more?

Are expensive monitor arms actually worth it?

As a WFH software dev it is kind of given that you have to have a sick setup given the thousands of rate my setup posts on dev forums, but I think I am kind of the opposite because I am looking for function rather than aesthetics.

So because of avoiding back problems from sitting all day I have invested on standing desk and that means my Monitors have to change position from time to time, so that means I may need to get some monitor arms, and what I thought was a simple thing turned out to be a whole investigative series, who would have thought that monitor arms are so many and so diverse?

I have been checking on sites like alibaba, xchair and the rest and the prices are all over. We have one at like 20 dollars and another at 300 and so the obvious question is for something that basically holds a monitor arm up is it worth it to pay close to 300 dollars on it?

Has anyone found a solar camping setup that actually survives rain?

I have been seeing posts about solar camping setup ruined by sudden rain and me who was had been saving up to buy a nice solar setup for an upcoming camping trip during the summer is instantly worried.

I have looked at weather projections and I know that we may have some rain during the period I will be camping and I kind of don't want to be part of those statistics so I am revising what I had actually intended to get and look for something more durable.

I have looked around the usual sites like amazon, alibaba and I am not seeing anything that accounts for rain, especially sudden rain, since the place I am camping is relatively safe we will be leaving the setup outside as we continue with our daily activities so I dont want something that we will have to babysit.

Has anyone ever gotten a rain resistant setup? Please advise.
