I have treatment resistant depression. It’s pretty severe. Tried all kinds of different antidepressants feom different subgroups and in different combinations. I would be ok for lile 3-4 weeks and then I would go down a downward spiral. I’m suicidal.
My psychiatrist has offered me two solutions: either try with Lithium in addition to what I am on now or try esketamin. The problem with esketamin is that there is a waiting list and I am feeling really bad right bow. But if I can hang on and then it works with less risk of relapse I think it mihjt be worth it.
Does anyone have experience with this?
