Help us choose!
Me and my wife are planning to buy our first car and these are our choices. We are planning to buy second hand lang since that is practical for us. I am asking for your insights or mga experiences niyo po with the units mentioned.
VA po kami ni wife and we are earning roughly around 100-110k monthly for combined income. May binabayaran din kami na bahay and wala pa baby. We are going to use this car po para sa mga gala namin ni wifey (once or twice a week) and for our weekend trips pabalik po sa parents ko which is around 2-3 hours na drive. Napagod na din kase kami mag motor dahil sa ulan at init. Also para din sa future family namin ni wifey.
We are searching for comparisons din sa reddit and youtube pero gusto ko lang din malaman yung experience niyo since you own the car or you know someone does. I am eyeing for the City kase mas gwapo at parang premium ang feeling, pero mas gusto ni wifey ang Vios since her Mom owns a vios (2021 Manual) and we can say na mas tipid talaga sa gas. Mahirap din kase mag hanap ng City na manual e lol.
Eto po yung kinoconsider namin and ang mga nakita namin na sagot so far:
Fuel efficiency - (City daw mas efficient pero 1.5L yung engine, how is that possible?)
Maintenance and cost - (Toyota daw mas cheap pero sabi ng iba is hindi naman ganun ka layo yung price difference at reliable naman daw ang dalawa, it’s just that yung vios is pang bardagulan talaga)
Drive feel - mas smooth daw ang city dahil sa engine size, pero okay din si toyota since naka try na din kami ng vios
Tech and Premium features - Sabi ng ibang users ay mas maganda ang tech and and mas solid daw si City compared kay vios (Based on our experience sa vios, mabilis ma dent si vios eh, at barebones talaga yung sasakyan even if yung higher variants nila)
It seems that there is a clear winner here (City) pero siyempre gusto ko din malaman yung ownership experience niyo for the units na kinoconsider namin. Yung mga issues na experienced niyo while owning the units and mga modifications niyo po para ma improve yung unit niyo.
