I am visiting Belgrade for 1 day in July as part of a work trip in the EU/balkans (but it’s a day off). I’ve never been to Serbia so I want to get the absolute most out of my time in Belgrade.
So far from what I’ve seen your country and cities are beautiful and full of things to do, but if you only had one day in Belgrade what would you do? Foods, attractions, natural areas, historical sites.
One thing to note, I’m not a big party person, but I don’t mind drinking. I do intend to visit some museums and maybe visit some Brutalist architecture, but that’s all I really have in mind.
Is there any thing to avoid? Whether it be seeing or speaking about? I am trying to learn a bit of a basic set of Serbian vocab to be friendly.
I’m very excited about this trip, and while I haven’t been yet, I want to come back again one day already!
