(spoiled it because one of the images contains artistic nudity) I really love my old, cartoony artstyle because it was simple and easy to manage, but i started doubting my art and began comparing myself to others, I draw a lot because I want validation, another reason is because it’s very hard to draw my gory horror characters in my old style, but realism puts pressure on me and I never finish the drawings on time, I want to stop comparing myself to others so I can simply follow what I want to do. I’ve been drawing for a WHILE and obviously my art improves, but Ive always loved my much older art more than my newer ones, is there Any way I can stop feeling envious of better artstyles and just be myself in the art community?
