First of all, I want to say that I like to build strategies focused on the happy emotion, but Aubrey's abilities are so bad... I can only think of Last Resort and Beatdown as good abilities; the rest leaves me stuck. I like to do a Beatdown combo with Aubrey Ecstatic to land several critical hits because it's a multi-hit attack, but I don't know. I'd like some guidance because Aubrey really confuses me a lot. I think her abilities could use a little more care. The build I can currently think of is: Beatdown, Last Resort, Pep Talk if i am doing a sad strategy or Team Spirit if i am doing a happy strategy, and I get stuck on the last skill.
I don't know if there's a big difference in the builds people use for Aubrey in the Sunny and Hikikomori routes, in terms of items. I like to use Universal Remote or Binoculars if I'm building a Beatdown + Critical Hits build. I don't like to use Counter because I use Mesmerize from the Hero to make him my tank since he has much better natural defense than Aubrey. I also don't use Headbutt because Sad is the worst emotion to inflict on an enemy, in my opinion, and if I were to use Headbutt I would want to apply Sad to the enemy to maximize damage. I don't see much point in using Twirl since its damage isn't all that great as far as I know. Mood Wrecker is only useful in sad strategies or in Sweetheart. Wind-Up Throw is quite consistent, I would use it. Besides that, I think that's all Aubrey has. Power Hit is useless since Omori has Stare in both lanes. I think the last ability could be Guard since it doesn't have any disadvantages, or Wind-Up Throw just because. Tell me what you think.
For those wondering, I didn't finish the sunny route, but I already got all of Aubrey's skills and I was unsure which ones would be the best.
Edit: The reason I prefer using Pep Talk in a sad-focused strategy is because I only want to make enemies happy in a sad strategy due to the emotional advantage; in a happy strategy, I'll want to use Annoy instead, which is why I use Team Spirit.
