Licensed broker needed for formal entry — CBP seizure remission case at JFK — anyone able to assist or refer?
Hi all,
I have a CBP seizure remission case at JFK and have been approved for release of my property pending a formal entry filing. It's a watch I ordered through Chrono24, that customs seized and sat on for a month or so, but it is now ready to be released. All documentation is prepared and ready to hand over immediately.
I've worked through the CBP permitted brokers list and contacted a large number of brokers, but most are either unresponsive or don't handle personal goods seizure remissions. Originally this was meant to be a valentines day gift, now i hope it just gets here by my girlfriends birthday in June.
Looking for a broker who handles this type of case, or a referral to someone who does. Happy to discuss by DM.
Thanks in advance.
