So i was late to an university exam and arrived about a couple minutes prior to the exam but i thought it already started in a rush and went into the room full of people already, i ran from the bus stop to the university so i was already agitated.. One guy in the crowd who i knew previously and havnt seen in 4 months started shouting my name and laughing loudly but briefly. I didnt really care and just rushed to my seat. The professor was standing next to the laughing guy visibly perplexed by his action and looked at him, and the laughing guy said “i laugh because of him" i guess he didnt want to offend the prof, but the prof was visibly irritated. I had to place my jacket on the side and the guy laughed one last time and then i sat down. I did look a bit tense and rushed during all of this. i completely ignored him. I see him rarely if at all and i dont know what this was about. Did i react bad by ignoring it?
