I work in a corporate job and have a some money on paper, but virtually nothing day to day because of debt and high cost of everything. I am worried that people will find out that I am struggling, so I do things to hide my lack of money. I look for 3-1 frozen meals and heat/eat them elsewhere. I walk to a McDonalds several blocks away and eat off the cheapest part of the value menu there before I go back to the office. I will eat dollar pizza walking around and go back. Or I will just not eat, pretending that I am too busy to take a break. Have not eaten breakfast in I don't know when. At home I eat even worse, saving the good food for my kids and eating last every time to make sure they have enough. I have found that eating late and having something with sugar will allow me to sleep without being hungry. People think I am doing well, but every day is a struggle. Anyone else experiencing this?
