Recently I have played D&D briefly with my friends in discord which it sucks that our schedules are conflicting thus unable to play another session, I got a gist of it how the game is played by the DM.

I was curious because the DD1 world can be a Campaign with themes of Lovecraftian and Dark Fantasy.

Anyway just wanted to share! and I want to hear what is your opinion on this subject!

I'm ready to be flagellated Mr. Bodypillow

I have been playing the game for 20 hours now and whenever I play in act 2 I thought it was like the same as act 1: "Survive these stages and fight the boss" but no when I completed all the locations in act 2 Resentment I was forced to end the Expedition entirely without me entering the Mountain.

So I have been using this free time by repeating act 1 to get all the Heroes stories for their skill and candles to increase my upgrades

What am I missing here? is there a requirement for me to go to the mountain after clearing certain stages?
