I’d like help identifying this vintage mechanical adding machine / calculator made by Victor Adding Machine Company (Chicago, U.S.A.).
Details I found:
- Brand: VICTOR
- Serial number: No. 147600
- Full keyboard mechanical adding machine with hand crank
- Paper roll printer on top
- Side label says: “This machine is protected by U.S.A. and foreign patents”
- Black metal body, likely pre-war model
I believe it may be from around the 1920s–1930s, but I’m not sure of the exact model.
I’d love help with:
- Exact model identification
- Approximate production year
- Whether this is a common model or something less common
- Realistic collector value
It appears quite complete and in good cosmetic condition. I’m not yet sure if it is fully functional.
I’m attaching several photos from front, side, and serial plate.
Any help from Victor experts would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
