I’m planning my first trip to Paris in the fall and am trying to plan a bachelorette day.
I’m hesitant to book a food tour because I am skeptical of the price and quality. However, because this is my first time, I also worry that my lack of knowledge may hinder the quality of a self-planned route.
The potential food tours I was looking at that provided a more diverse tastings are about 150 euros in St Germain and it looks like most of them are eating light bites, which I felt is a bit overpriced. But what do I know? I’ve never been to Paris. Maybe their list includes the best of the best.
Our list of foods to try for the day includes cheese, cured meat, escargot, wine, pastries and chocolate.
Should I just stick to a food tour or do you think there’s cheaper and efficient ways to plan out good restaurants. We are trying to maximize the different food we can eat.
Additionally, I had heard of the ‘Le Walk’ app to do self-guided tours for free. Has anyone used that and has it been helpful?
