Hey everyone,

I have an upcoming discussion with PwC AC bangalore for an Associate 2 position in Record to Report (RTR) / General Accounting.

I have around 5 years of experience in the RTR space and wanted to get a sense of what's a reasonable ask before going into the conversation.

Education background only Bcom hons

Last ctc was 5 LPA

From what I've gathered on Glassdoor and other platforms, PwC Associates in India are typically in the ₹8–14 LPArange, but I'm targeting somewhere around ₹12–14 LPA given my domain expertise and years in RTR specifically.

A few questions for those who've been through this:

Is this range realistic for Associate 2 in the AC setup?

Does RTR experience command any premium over general accounting roles?

Any tips on how to negotiate without anchoring too low in the HR discussion?

Would really appreciate inputs from folks at PwC or those who've recently made the switch ?
