Hello everyone. I'm looking for some suggestions on how to make a simple discord bot for an RPG server. I need the bot to monitors channels and when a trigger phrase is posted respond with an @ role message to ping required parties. I'm aware that there are other fully fledged bots that can achieve this but it's more of a personal project that I would like to use to get more familiar with creating bots in general. TIA.
