Hi everyone, looking for some insight or similar experiences. I’m an Indian F-1 student graduating next month.

Applied for Initial OPT (Premium Processing): April 14

Requested Start Date: June 15

Current Status: "Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Sent"

Issue: I haven’t heard anything since the receipt. I’ve called USCIS thrice now and was told to just keep waiting.

My job is supposed to start on June 15 (still a month away). I’m panicking because my biometrics haven’t even been scheduled yet (premium clock ending on May 14), where as everyone getting their biometrics scheduled in 1-2 weeks max even without premium.

1. Is it normal for Premium Processing to take this long without an update?
2. Does everyone actually get a biometrics appointment for Initial OPT? I've submitted biometrics for Canada Visa last year at USCIS office, would that matter? (I assume not)
3. What are my early next steps that I can take to ensure that my case processes by this month?
